Need help or suggestions? Looking for things to do on the island or a great place to eat? Interested in taking a day trip to the mainland to see Mayan ruins, go to the zoo or tube down a river? Simply ask one of our staff members! Luciana is a diving instructor and licensed tour guide and she will be able to help you organize your holidays so that you make the most of your time on Caye Caulker and in Belize. All other staff members are locals and have a very deep knowledge of what the island has to offer! Feel free to ask them any question you like!
Although we love Belize, we also want to stay true to our Italian orgins, so we opened "Il Baretto", which is Italian for "the little bar".
On the grounds of Oaisi, Il Baretto serves real Italian espresso coffee, wine, cocktails and fresh local juices and more. "Il Baretto" is the perfect place for our guests to relax and get to know each other and other island guests and residents after a long day of sea, tours, water sports and fishing!
Here at OASI, you can now relax right next to your apartment, with our brand new swimming pool!
Belize is a very small country with just over 300.000 inhabitants. It's bordered to the North by Mexico, to the West/South by Guatemala, and to the East by the Caribbean Sea.
This country counts more than 450 islands, and Caye Caulker is one of one of the few that are inhabited!

But, Belize is not only the ocean and the barrier reef, it also has a rich history and culture, with more than 8 ethnic groups.
You will be able to visit some of the most important Mayan cities of the past, and talk with the descendants of this ancient civilization!
